Project Description

Country: USA

Location: St. Paul, NE

Total Budget: $2,550

Areas of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment, Basic education and literacy

Activity Type: Food/Agriculture: General

Summary: The Rotary Club of St. Paul will aid in subsidizing the local school district lunch program to help offset the annual deficit.

Lower income families are eligible for reduced school lunch fees. Despite this reduced cost, they are often unable to make payment. This leaves the school district lunch program in an annual deficit. The Rotary Club of St. Paul intends to use this grant to help directly subizize the lunch program and thereby indirectly aiding low income families that are unable to pay for reduced fee lunches.
