Project Description

Country: USA

Location: Ramona

Total Budget: $1,000

Area of Focus: None

Activity Type: Community Development: General

Summary: Ramona Rotary has hosted the 4th of July for over 25 years we have partnered with the Chamber

Ramona Rotary started this event over 30+ years ago and did it on our own for 27+ years, when our club got smaller we could not facilitate this event on our own. We teamed up with the Ramona Chamber and Kiwanis, we only give a $1000 donation, however it costs close to $40,000 to facilitate this venture which benefits the whole town, all of our club participates with doing parking, canisters, begging in front of grocery stores, send out letters to all the businesses in town to help out - it's a very big endeavor but we are ensuring it goes on.
