Hartsdale-Greenburgh Rotary has been partnering with the Greenburgh Library and providing education for adults on various subjects of interest, including cybersecurity, political policies, financial management and planning, etc. We will start with 4 lectures for the year at ~$500/lecture which would cover honorarium, refreshments, and room rental. Maximum attendance is 80-100.
The timeline is the the current rotary year. We currently have the first lecture planned for October 15. This will involve the whole club and moderators.
Addendum to Project Description (added after the project was signed)
We are still moving forward with this plan but we are probably going to do only 3 lectures under this grant. We have the subjects that we wish to present and our tie with the with Greenburgh Public Library is proving to be beneficial in making these arrangements. The next subject should be food insecurity in Westchester with WIC and Feeding Westchester.
