Our project thrives on the cooperation and support of various local agencies such as Neighbor to Neighbor, Project Self Sufficiency, Crossroads Safe House, and Care Housing. These partnerships enable us to identify families in need and distribute the Holiday Baskets effectively. A key partner in our project is the Food Bank of Larimer County, which assists us in gathering and assembling the Holiday Baskets. Their contribution of food items, available at the time, forms a significant part of the meals we provide. Volunteers from the Foothills Rotary Club play a crucial role in the success of the Holiday Baskets project. Their service includes acquiring food, packing the baskets, and delivering these meals on the weekend before Christmas. The dedication and hard work of our volunteers ensure that the baskets reach those in need with care. While the Food Bank provides a portion of the meals, we supplement them by purchasing additional food items with the funds we raise and the grants we receive. In the face of food insecurity and the high cost of goods, our Holiday Baskets project aims to bring some comfort and to make the holiday season a little brighter for the families we serve. The Foothills Rotary Holiday Baskets project is a testament to the power of community collaboration and volunteerism.
