Yes isolation is Road to suicide! We want to prevent isolation and indirectly promote mental wellbeing.
Learn2Earn is an online one on one mentoring programme (the app at alfa stage) providing Education, friendship and little incentives to 100 million refugees who are stuck in refugee camp from 3-9 years with PTSD. Yet help is limited as UNHCR can only provide shelter and safety. I know because I was in refugee camp for 7 years and missed out on early schooling and being connected to more then 3 refugee camps, where people disappear for a few days and then find out they committed a suicide.
Through Learn2Earn volunteers from around the world, will become a friend to talk to through the phone in hope to help prevent isolation and mental breakdown. Nevertheless, the $1 monetary reward can encourage continuation to work with the mentor to focus on education rather than giving up.
