Project Description Region: Asia Country: India Location: Navi Mumbai Total Budget: $30,400 Area of Focus: Maternal and child health support Ante Natal Care for Pregnant Mothers who get complete care during the Pregnancy and also post delivery. Importance of First 1000 Days of Life: Our Project is completely aligned with UNICEF Concept of First 1000 days of life i.e 9 months of pregnancy and first 2 years of life. This gives the mother and child a head-start towards healthy motherhood and healthy childhood. We propose to cover 400 women under this Global Grant project. Cost of ANC: Rs 6500 (USD 76) per pregnant mother which involves all components mentioned as components of ANC viz: Gynaecological Consultations, Scans, Supplements throughout the pregnancy and Post delivery pediatric checkup. The estimated project cost is INR 2.6 MILLION (USD30,400) The project will be executed at Satya sai Sanjeevani Hospital, which is supporting women since quite some time and the entire medical treatment at this hospital is provided Free of Cost to the needy patients.
