Summary: Rise Against Hunger


Food insecurity never seems to go away. Our club (Rotary Club of Fountain Valley, CA) is partnering with a neighbor club, Surf City Rotary Club of Huntington Beach, CA, to conduct a Meal Packaging Event with a nonprofit, Rise Against Hunger, which has a worldwide distribution channel to distribute packaged food to those in need.

The two clubs are purchasing food, and under the auspices of Rise Against Hunger, will conduct a packaging event on September 14, 2024, in Fountain Valley, CA, where members of both clubs will be packing the food and readying the boxes for distribution by Rise Against Hunger who will distribute it.
